Dananananaykroyd return to play low key gigs

Dananananaykroyd, the Glasgow-based posi-core proto-rock six-piece return to live ears next week with three super low-key shows around the UK.

Having spent the past six months holed up in Scotland, writing songs for their as yet unnamed second album, the band hit London, Cardiff and Manchester to play the material, before performing at a few select festivals and recording the long player.

Terri Walker signs new deal!

Remember, last weeks post about Terri Walker. Well since then I have found out she has actually been living in NY for the last year. She has also just signed a new record deal with Roc-A-Fella.

That's not all, she's releasing an album later this year and has just unveiled her new single 'understanding' produced by Ski Beatz. Oh, the excitement :-)

The Candle Thieves announce their tour...

Spotify goes social

For those that are familiar with this blog will know that I usually put up my "top 5 Spotify tunes of the week ". However, I haven't done so for the last couple weeks.

Spotify has now released a new social feature which allows you to share tracks and playlists at a touch of a button. So, this will allow you to share your tunes much more freely now.

To get a better understanding of how this feature works check out the video.

Pro Green battles Tubes

I was watching this last week and thought it was brilliant. I use to really like tubes but he's starting to grate on me now.

Check out Helen's face when Green disses the soccerrette, classic!

Alex Mills - A64

You've got to respect SB's grafting, he has single handily covered the whole scene through his camera lense.

The F64's separated the men against the boys when it came to lyrics. The A64's are now here to no doubt show off the vocal range and oh my doesn't Alex Mills have a pair of lungs on her :-).

Check it out.

Remember her?

Terri Walker, where is she now?

Hopefully, that has jogged your memory. If anyone knows her whereabouts tell her I want to give her a slot at a future TOTR event :-)

Rox – “I Don’t Believe”

This is Rox's second single 'I don't believe', I like it but not as much as her debut effort. However, the video is much better this time round and I really liked the first video. Mad ha!

N*E*R*D featuring Nelly Furtado – Hot N Fun

I am T-Pain

I recently went over to the dark side, yes I got myself an iPhone. I have to say I do not miss my old BB one little bit and for anyone who doesn't agree with me all I have to say is, just get yourself an iphone.

Anyway, the reason for this post is to promote probably the best app I have come across so far on the iphone. It's bloody brilliant and well worthy of the £1.79p I paid for it.

Check it out

The Big Butt Book: Putting the backside front and center

Taschen are a book publishers that were founded in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen. Famously known for their art books taschen of recent times have released more "x-rated" themed books including fetishistic imagery and even pornography.

Taschen's pending release the big butt book "explores this perennial fascination with female booty from small and taut to large and sumptuous". The book will include over 400 images from the 1900's to the present day with work from the likes of Terry Richardson and Ed Fox.

For any appreciating fan of the female form I believe this book is a must. Released later this month and originally retailing at £34.99 this book can pre ordered at Amazon.co.uk
for a very reasonable £22.74.

I've ordered mine already :-)
